Commission testimonials

We commissioned 3 memory cushions for a wedding present and ‘The Peacock Lotus’ has exceeded all our expectations!
The cushions are extremely beautiful, creatively designed and carefully finished.
Nedra kept in touch, really listened to what we wanted and ensured prompt delivery over a bank holiday weekend.
This present, which is in memory of a dear friend means so much…. thank you!

Clare Grasham, Buckinghamshire

Thank you for the lovely Peter Rabbit Kaleidoscope quilt. We bought it as a new baby gift for one of our team members at work and she was delighted with it as it goes beautifully in their new nursery. We would highly recommend the one-off commission as it was so easy to order and met our timeframe perfectly.

Elen, East Sussex

I could not be happier with my memory blanket. Very well made down to the finest details. Very special for my newest baby girl made with my eldest girls old clothes.

Elaine, Brighton

Thank you Nedra for my/ Éabha’s stunning quilt. You chose such beautiful colours and patterns that are absolutely perfect for my little girl. I really love the personalisation of her name and date of birth stitched onto it too. I will definitely be coming back to you for more

Working on #lunalapin whilst in the garden. I've always avoided hand sewing as it's been too slow for me compared to sitting at the machine, but there's something relaxing and mindful about sitting back and hand sewing ...and it's nice to be outside and not stuck in the room sewing!

When your child gives you summer projects just because you can sew 🪡 🧵! I've wanted to sew this for a while so her encouragement is a good excuse to do something different...I'm not a natural at hand sewing, I even looked up if I could do it all on the machine. Can you guess what it is?? 🐇

Hand printed drawstring bag completed and gifted to a teacher. It was my son's idea to put the pink flowers in🌸. Think they draw out the pink of the lining really well... he has a better eye for detail than me 😂.

My beautiful blanket scarf from @carolynsaradesigns arrived today and I love it 🥰🤩, thank you Carolyn!! I first met Carolyn at the @rhswisley craft event last year and bought a poncho, so this year I had to add a handmade pure wool scarf 💜... looking forward to seeing the tank tops too!

COMING SOON... quilted zipper pouches 👝, soon to be added to my etsy and website shops. Its a beautifully hot bank holiday, so made a quilt top (as you do...pictures to come 😊) and I decided to finally get photos of my zipper pouches done to get them online...there's only so many I can make before I need to start doing the admin side of posting online 🤭.
Hope you're enjoying the beautiful Bank Holiday weekend 😎

Challenge accepted and won...stitched all 30 kaleidoscope hexagons whilst the bobbin light was flashing...love my big bernina bobbin. Now I just need to add the cornerstones and finish the quilt (@beginnersquiltinghub - another example of getting distracted at the machine 😅 🤦🏽‍♀️)

Happy 5th birthday to Coco, my whirlwind 'puppy'!!

Happy 5th birthday to Coco, my whirlwind 'puppy'!! Every year the photo is by the fireplace but we actually has sunshine today 🌞 !! He celebrated by chasing a fox in the garden, but typical spaniel he ran passed it as he wasn't looking and was following his nose 🤣

Look who turned 15yo at the end of March!!! This little lady has never been on my page before as she lives a private life (unlike her brother Coco) but Delilah couldn't have a big birthday and not have it marked somehow 🐈🐈‍⬛. She still jumps around the house like a kitten, chasing ghosts at 2am 🤦🏽‍♀️🤭🥰. Please say your old cat is the same!!
